Bioinspired Engineering of Condensed Protein Mesophases and Cell Collectives (Rules of Life) grew from an NSF-funded iSuperSeed project; it aims to discover Rules of Life for condensed mesophases composed of polypeptide or cellular building blocks, and to use these principles to engineer structure and dynamics of synthetic biomaterials from micron to centimeter length scales.
